BUILT FOR UPTIME – Janitza at SPS 2026 in Nuremberg
At SPS 2026, Janitza will showcase solutions for transparent energy supply, power quality and intelligent load management. The new Class A power quality analyzer, the UMG 811-PQA, will take centre stage.

Under the theme “BUILT FOR UPTIME – KEEP CRITICAL SYSTEMS RUNNING,” Janitza will exhibit at SPS in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 November 2026. The focus will be on transparency in energy supply and solutions that help operators identify critical grid conditions at an early stage and increase the availability of their systems. Janitza will be exhibiting in Hall 6, Booth 260.
The UMG 811-PQA: the new Class A power quality analyzer
The highlight of the show is the new Class A power quality analyzer, the UMG 811-PQA. The instrument quickly and reliably detects grid disturbances, captures harmonics in the high-frequency range and makes critical grid phenomena visible before, for example, production comes to a standstill.
At the interactive power quality exhibit, visitors can see how typical symptoms—such as flickering lights, overheating motors, tripped fuses or machine error messages—can be traced back to specific causes. They can also discover how the UMG 811-PQA, together with the GridVis® grid visualisation software, keeps a close eye on the state of the energy supply.
Other key topics
Also making its debut is the UMG 106 energy analyzer, used in combination with the GridVis® ConnectApp. This compact instrument is ideal for installation in feeder boxes and can be commissioned in just a few steps via NFC. The UMG 106 is suitable for energy monitoring and limit monitoring on busbars.
This year, Janitza Project Solutions is putting the spotlight on load management. The solutions on display cover generation, storage, monitoring, charging and consumption. Visitors will learn how energy flows can be made transparent and loads controlled precisely—for example, in industrial facilities or when integrating renewable energy.
With the UMG 800 and its low-power modules, Janitza will also demonstrate a particularly space-saving solution for measuring numerous outgoing feeders. The UMG 96-PQ-L-LP grid analyzer is especially well suited to the efficient retrofitting of existing installations.
Digital solutions: GridVis® and Digimondo
Janitza will also present its digital solutions at SPS. GridVis® provides transparency into energy flows, supports standards-compliant measurement data analysis and helps identify potential savings.
New to the portfolio is the GridVis®–niotix Bridge, which connects GridVis® directly to the niotix IoT platform from digimondo, a Janitza Group company.
Having joined the Janitza Group in July 2025, Digimondo will bring measurement data and IoT infrastructure together at SPS 2026. The focus will be on building management solutions and the collection and analysis of measurement data in local grid substations using Janitza measurement technology. Other key topics include predictive maintenance and LoRaWAN networks for industrial companies.
