Janitza expands its international presence and opens a new office in Singapore. The new location strengthens the company's presence in Southeast Asia and brings it closer to customers and partners across the region.

Janitza officially established its Singapore entity on October 1, 2026. The new location provides the company with a local base in one of Asia's most economically dynamic regions. Key areas of focus include the growing data center industry, advanced manufacturing, and the region's evolving energy infrastructure.

"Southeast Asia is developing rapidly. New data centers and advanced manufacturing facilities are increasing electricity demand and placing greater demands on energy infrastructure. That makes Singapore the right location for us at this time. From here, we are expanding our presence in the region and supporting these developments with our solutions," says Alexander Veidt, CEO of Janitza.

Significant Potential for Janitza

Singapore's dynamic growth is particularly evident in the data center market. The country plans to add at least 300 MW of data center capacity, with the expansion subject to stringent requirements for energy efficiency and sustainable energy supply. As an expert in energy monitoring and power quality, Janitza can help meet these requirements with high-quality measurement technology and integrated project solutions.

Racheal Lee will lead operations at the new Singapore office as Vice President Sales APAC and drive the further expansion of Janitza's presence across the Asia-Pacific region. She brings more than ten years of experience in the region, including positions at international companies such as Schneider Electric and Hewlett Packard. She also has extensive experience in strategic leadership and regional business development.

"Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a hub for advanced manufacturing. Companies in these industries have particularly high requirements for reliable power supply and visibility into their electrical systems. We see significant potential for Janitza in this market," says Racheal Lee.

With its new Singapore office, Janitza continues its international expansion. Following the establishment of locations in the United States, Australia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Austria, the German manufacturer of energy measurement technology and associated software is strengthening its presence in another key growth region.
