Modularly expandable energy analyzer

The UMG 800 modular energy analyzer means recording your energy data is flexible and efficient. You can equip the basic device with six different modules to perfectly customize it to your company’s needs. The energy analyzer is not just scalable, but is also an investment in the future. New measurement requirements can be handled via new modules without replacing the measurement technology.

The UMG 800 records all necessary energy data in a space-saving, cost-effective way. The potential applications are practically endless. From individual feeder measurements to power quality analyzes to establishing complete measuring systems – the UMG 800 can be customized to meet your requirements (e.g. in data centers, production plants or distribution substation).

Compact and space-saving

The UMG 800’s small size of 2 sub-units, along with the ability to expand it with 800-CT8-LP modules providing eight current measurement inputs in 1 sub-unit make it ideal in areas with little space to install. This means current measurements can be made where space is an important factor, such as in tap-off boxes or when retrofitting plants.

Many measurements – 1 device

When many measurements are needed, the UMG 800 really shows what it can do. Up to 32 outgoing feeder measurements can be carried out with a single basic device and the modules. You can freely select from several different current measuring modules depending on the application in question (e.g. 8 additional low power measurement inputs with the 800-CT8-LP module). For example, it is possible to carry out several measurements in distribution substations or RPPs and PDUs in data centers.

The UMG 800 can be seamlessly integrated into existing and higher-order systems thanks to numerous interfaces and protocols, enabling efficient data transmission in real time. It also has an internal memory for data storage.

Fixed grid for Modbus address lists and individual address lists simplify integration and commissioning. Convenient white listing and an integrated firewall enhance operational safety.

The web server integrated in the UMG 800 can be easily controlled via the IP address, enabling simple commissioning and configuration without additional software.

Measured values can be easily monitored and evaluated via the UMG 800’s integrated web server. It provides overviews of the most important data and fundamental power quality parameters. These help you evaluate the state of your network. Alternatively, you can also visualize the data on site via the RD 96 remote display. This helps you keep track of matters at all times.
