Functions and Features

Get a general overview of the most important functions of the AKM.

General features

    • Measuring device UMG 96RM-E or UMG 806 (depending on type)
    • Current measurement 3-phase and direct measurement of the neutral conductor current
    • Fault current measurement type A with integrated differential current transformer CT-AC RCM 35N
    • Measurement of box internal temperature with PT100 sensor
    • Power output fused with NH fuses (max. current depending on type)
    • Communication: 1x RJ45 (Ethernet), 2x M12 (Modbus)
    • Type tested according to DIN EN 61439
    • Freely selectable cable outlet direction simplifies installation
    • Display can be rotated by 180° for laterally correct display
    • Easy bus installation due to master-slave structures
    • Cost and IP address saving networking via RS485

Variants and options

  • Option DI: Pulse input for additional measurements

    • Optional digital input for recording any process variables (e.g. compressed air or water)
    • Measured values are standardized and temporarily stored in the AKM
  • Option RCM plus: Extended residual current measurement

    • Detection of pulsating fault currents up to 20 kHz (type B+) according to IEC 62020
    • Alternative to insulation measurement in TN-S systems and thus reduced testing effort on fixed electrical installations within the scope of DGUV V3
  • Option DI: Pulse input for additional measurements

    • Optional digital input for recording any process variables (e.g. compressed air or water)
    • Measured values are standardized and temporarily stored in the AKM
