Functions and Features

Get a general overview of the most important functions of the FBM series.

Decentralized I/O Fieldbus Modules FBM10 Series

    • RS485 interface
    • Modbus RTU protocol
    • Can be used as a slave device to the measuring devices of the UMG 604-PRO, UMG 605-PRO, UMG 508, UMG 509-PRO, UMG 511 and UMG 512-PRO series
    • Connection also possible over a distance of up to 1,000 m to the RS485 Modbus master interface of the device; either via Profibus cable or e.g. a cable of the type Li2YCY(TP) 2 x 2 x 0.22
    • Modules are available ready configured and programmed according to the selected measuring device

Application of the FBM10I and FBM10R modules

    • Combination of different input and output signals for distribution to the corresponding participants.
    • To use the field bus modules, a connection to the respective Modbus master from the UMG 604-PRO, UMG 605-PRO, UMG 508, UMG 509-PRO, UMG 511 or UMG 512-PRO device series is required
    • All data points integrated in the Janitza system
    • Acquisition of various parameters such as process data, states, fault messages, limit values, alarm outputs, etc.
    • Archiving and visualization via GridVis® software

    • Emax blocking or enabling
    • Tariff switching
    • Emax setpoint switching
    • Synchronization measuring period
    • Fault messages
    • Status messages

    • Emax outputs
    • Limit value outputs for measured values

Application of the FBM10PT1000 modules

    • Temperature field bus module
    • Recording of up to 10 temperature measurements (e.g. via PT100 or PT1000)
    • Recording and visualization of the measured values is carried out with the help of a UMG 604-PRO, UMG 605-PRO, UMG 508, UMG 509-PRO, UMG 511 or UMG 512-PRO and a required extension
